Artist's Statement: First let me say I'm not a philosopher nor am I philosophic about my work. To me there is just the work. Form-texture-color are what I love. I can't be bothered considering it's juxtaposition in the grand scheme of things. That would bore me to death. I just love to work in clay. I love the challenge of new ideas and techniques. I am constantly trying to improve to be the best artist I can be. Let others wax eloquently on my work. Let them praise me or tear me down. To me there is just the work.
