Artist's Statement: My goal is to create ceramic figurative works that portray people in all their diversity. Over the past few years, I have been experimenting with press-molded vases, small glazed ceramic figures based on gestures by the model, and larger ceramic figures.

I am pleased to present the "Venus" vase to the Vasefinder Nationals.
