Artist's Statement: The entry enclosed was inspired when finding a fallen log covered after the autumn rains with an orange fungi growth.

As a flower arranger plus 20 years with an interflora florist business, the effect of the textured clay surface and subtle fungi growth pattern in a tall cylindrical shape of the vase, allows for a diverse design arrangement.
