Artist's Statement: I started pottery in 1964 and got completely hooked on wheel thrown pottery. Forty five years later I am still an addict. I have been teaching it for about 34 years now and I am pleased to have been able to get many other potters interested. I am now mostly interested in passing on my knowledge and ability to others but above all, I still love make a ball of clay into an object other people like to use. Form, function and finish is my main interest and the love of clay.
