Artist's Statement: Stefanie Porcaro lives in Waterbury, Ct. She has been painting, touching clay, & building throwaway sculptures out of plastic cups and burger wrappers for as long as she can remember. Porcaro likes secret observations and medium experimentation.

Unclosespain is extracted from a series of pots in which she creates perspective by applying line to shape. The subjects of interest for the series can be associated to the anatomy of the thorax and the odd beauty of telephone poles.
