Artist's Statement: I have thrown tall shapes because I've considered them the most attractive. When my friend Mimi Patrick invited me to enter a piece, I felt that I should produce one of the best shapes that I can throw while maintaining even wall thickness. This vase is just over 30 inches tall and is approximately 12.5 pounds.
