Artist's Statement: I make one-of-a-kind ceramic vessels that are wheel thrown, burnished to a stone like finish, and naked raku or pit fired. The simple organic forms are inspired by nature. The directness of my firing techniques results in surface patterns that evoke spontaneity, movement and immediacy.
