Artist's Statement: My work is informed by nature: the flowers I plant and the wildflowers that inhabit my woodlands. I render floral images in great detail to encourage prolonged contemplation and I softly model and polish the surface to encourage touch. My vessels are containers for flowers.

It is through the intricately rendered floral images that I initiate a dialogue illuminating the significance of nature and promote its protection.
