Artist's Statement: The Hands on Series of ceramics is about arranging and combining elements of the figure and pottery form using photographic, printmaking and ceramic techniques.

Digital photography and computing allow for good control without having to use a darkroom. I started messing about with laser prints a few years ago and these are home made water slide transfers. The effect is of antique sepia photography which I find empathizes with the cream coloured glaze and body.
