Artist's Statement: Porcelain brings out the brightness from beneath layers of glazes and built up ash deposits from days of firing in the wood kiln....the subtle nature of the flow in the kilns never gets old....never ceases to tickle potters. It's like the flow on our journey through life....you think you have charted a path but rocks and bridges come along....a fork in the road....you tire, but hobble along accepting what has been tossed your way, and try to make the result meaningful and aesthetically pleasing to others.
