Artist's Statement: I have been experimenting with crystalline glazes for some 3 years. Fascinated and frustrated in what is measured by their beauty and unpredictability. As a thrower, I particularly enjoy combining simple full bodied shapes with the highly patterned surfaces achieved through the use of crystalline glazes.
