Artist's Statement: This was my first time to try horse hair raku firing. I was having a hard time finding horse hair. Thank you to my in-laws and their horse-sized donkey, Rickey. I was able to get the horse hair I needed. Thank you Rickey! I was so happy with the result of the donkey hair raku firing.
