Condition: There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Minor flake/fleck noted at the foot, as well as crazing throughout, which shows aging. This pot offers a subtle nice ringing resonance to attest to its fine quality.

Notes: Vasefinder is offering this thrown vase form from the transitional kiln of the Mountainside Art Pottery of New Jersey, which was in production from approximately 1929 to 1941. John Kovacs, a Hungarian immigrant, was the master potter of said kiln, where he produced both functional and sculptural wares.
