Artist's Statement: A few miles from my birthplace in Hungary archaeologists found 7000 year old terra cotta goddesses. I like to imagine and play with the idea that those goddesses are/were my ancestors, so I create them again and again with different textures, different clay bodies using all kinds of firing techniques. Sometimes they are just sculptures, but I prefer the idea of VASES because as vases, they can hold flowers well.
