Artist's Statement: My work is influenced by our environment, especially the ocean. However, instead of creating a rendering on the clay body, I try to interpret moods through the carved and engraved scapes. Neptune's Tide is my interpretation of what the sea may become if we do not take the time to care for it. It will become a dismal, dark place void of all that we know today.
