Artist's Statement: My earthenware vessels are a ceramic, comic book interpretation of the natural world, particularly agents of growth and decay.

"Bi-bud vase" resembles the space between a tree and branch growth, with an abstracted surface showing the growth rings within, through lichen resist patterning.
