Artist's Statement: I love creating process and working with clay. Attempting to control the process and results, is a constant challenge. I primarily make pouring and drinking vessels. I like doing design variations on a basic form. I often combine throwing, hand building and multi-textured surfaces in a single piece. I'm inspired by historical work from different cultures. This piece was inspired by Ancient Chinese Bronze Vessels.
