Artist's Statement: This work developed after a week at the beach where I looked at many shapes and sizes of shells, clouds and patterns in the sand and water. Perhaps I am trying to recreate the good feelings of that family vacation when I incorporate these visions into my pots, translating them into organic designs that resemble many of the textures in the natural world.
