Artist's Statement: Living on the coast of California, I've spent much of my time exploring in the mountains discovering many fascinating colors and textures found in nature, which has inspired my work.

I enjoy the art and science of glazes, and I'm constantly experimenting with materials and the process of reduction firing. This guarantees me that each time I open the kiln that I will find new and unique surfaces.
