Artist's Statement: My work is largely autobiographical. A tactile from of self exploration, I work mainly with coil building because I enjoy the breathing space that is created by a steady climb upward. I also incorporate smoke firing which lends a feeling of history, as if the pieces are artifacts discovered and interpreted.
