Artist's Statement: I create porcelain and stoneware pottery and ceramic art for everyday, centerpiece, and special occasion. The forms I create are inspired by the curves and proportions of the human body. I like to accentuate my forms with surface details inspired by textiles, garment and fashion such as stitching, darting, pattern and ornament. I expect the pottery I create to be used by its owner whether every morning for coffee or to celebrate a lifetime milestone.
