Artist's Statement: My work is slab constructed and raku fired with copper matte slip to between 1040 to 1070 degree Celsius.

Forms are inspired by numerous sources from the natural, to pre history and modernist sculpture.

I enjoy the physical interplay of raku firing and the spontaneity which yields such a diverse palette of texture and colours.
