Artist's Statement: What is most important to me is the feeling a piece of pottery expresses, through it's form, colour and energy. My work is often altered after it's thrown then sprayed with several glaze layers to create visual depth. I have come to realize my environment makes slow, constant impressions on me and unconsciously finds its way into my work.
