Artist's Statement: I am deeply concerned for the welfare and future of our amphibians. This past year I completed a series of pots featuring turtles and frogs which I call "On the Edge". They are intended to be both whimsical and thoughtful.

This piece began on the potters wheel and was then carved and finished with individually sculpted frogs. Cone 10 oxidation.
