Artist's Statement: I make luscious, shiny and rich slipware, the attraction of fresh wet slip on red terra cotta is captivating to me. I use centuries old techniques to make pots which are of and for today. My work is mainly for using, enjoying and being a part of the home. My journey into wood firing is thrilling with its new possibilities with my deliberately narrow palette.
