Artist's Statement: As Flanders & Swann's Hippopotamus Song says, I've long been a fan of mud, mud, glorious mud. For over 30 years, I've thrown, coiled, rolled & pinched clay to make useful & hopefully beautiful fun items. By producing unique handmade functional pottery that can be enjoyed everyday, I try to add richness & pleasure to our daily life & show how we are connected to the earth.
