Artist's Statement: Within the past year, I've changed clay bodies from stoneware to porcelain. I've been working with only a few glazes with Gail's Copper Patina being the main glaze. The forms I throw are simple so that I can concentrate on design and applying the glaze to achieve more complex results. The results are more dramatic in color and I can achieve more texture also. My designs are influenced by the natural surroundings where I live.
