Artist's Statement: The journey always begins on the potters wheel; throwing symmetrical forms which are then used in a process of deconstruction to create sculptural vessels, challenging the relationship between form and function.

Constants in my work are to create timeless objects which demand space to have personality with a strong emphasis on aesthetics, form, presence and mystery. All work is fired to stoneware temperatures to achieve a permanence and resonance only found in high fire ceramics.
