Artist's Statement: My mission in clay is to create forms that fascinate the eye and are functional. I conceptualize shapes that are difficult to form in clay and find ways to achieve the shapes, designs or colors. I love developing and learning new techniques. My work is a reflection of my life experience. It is a fusion of all the cultures I have experienced. Art is an expression of passion. A work of art is only complete after the last brush stroke, pressure of the hand, or dab of glaze, which bring it to life.
