Extremely
Rare Roblin Bisque Barrel Marked:
Impressed ROBLIN, as shown. Condition:
No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. This specimen shows no real use and has
a nice ring. Dimensions:
2.334"h x 1.875"w Notes:
Alexander Robertson, without a doubt, was one of the stalwarts of the California
Arts and Crafts Movement, where he had ties to the Roblin, Halcyon and Alberhill
potteries. I am offering here a museum quality and extremely rare Roblin barrel
form that is executed with amazing throwing skills. In 1906, many of the pots
from this operation were lost in the San Francisco Earthquake. This pot is sure
to complement your collection of Redlands, Valentien San Diego, Rhead Santa Barbara
or Arequipa collections of rare pottery. Don't Miss!!!
