Incised CCS with initials CN of the artist.
Condition:
There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Beautiful striations
in the glaze. Some unevenness of the top lip, which is strictly
from making, as well as minor factory stilt from the production
process.

Notes:
Vasefinder is offering this very powerful vase form. This pot was
created by Carol M. Nickerson, a Syracuse National exhibitor. She
had ties to the important Clay Craft Studios, where she worked with
Mary Yancey Hodgdon. Work from this studio is rare from experience
and so this a great offering for the serious studio collection.
This pot is very similar in form to some of the Rhead Era Arequipa
pots I have seen. This vase is sure to complement your bungalow
or transitional studio collections.
