Joe
Winter's stunning design represents a very complex synergy of the Japanese and
North Carolina folk traditions of creating in clay. Joe received his BFA from
Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff and his MFA from East Carolina University,
Greenville. Joe credits a major source of his inspiration to come from Japanese
Master Yukio Yamamoto, whom he studied with at various times over a 12 year period. |
